Enjoy a Holiday Lights Tour of Georgetown This Holiday Season
The holiday season may be different this year, but there’s still some magic in the air. The twinkling lights strung across homes and storefronts have a lot to do with that. If you want to see some of the most festive displays in the city and learn a little more about local history, check out the Holiday Lights Tour this month!
For 2020, DC by Foot guides will offer two incarnations of the tour—one in Georgetown and one downtown. Both will be taking extra precautions to keep guests safe, including keeping tour groups small. The downtown tour is actually private, and can be booked for a single household. Either way, the tour guides will show you some of the best holiday windows and light displays throughout the neighborhoods as they dole out tidbits about the backstories of various spots.
